Fergie looked electric in a blue Pucci mini dress, chic gold Judith Leiber clutch and most of all her understated but fab strappy gold Le Silla heels.

Other celebs such as Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Ciara and Victoria Beckham all love Le Silla heels for red carpet events, could this be the next footwear designer to watch out for?

Lady Gaga’s remarkable Grammy outfits - Five cutom-made Giorgio Armani ensembles in one night!

Whilst we’re on the subject of whacky footwear (Kelis and her Alexander McQueen creations) we couldn’t let Lady Gaga’s weird and wonderful Grammy outfits get overlooked now could we…

It’s really no surprise that Lady Gaga out did all other red carpet competition when it came to attention grabbing outfits.

Gaga wore five different custom-made Giorgio Armani Prive gowns to the 2010 Grammy’s, each as extraordinary and remarkable as the other.

Her shoes, in particular, were indescribable both for being one-of-a-kind and for somehow being able to keep her balance in them!

We want to know, how on earth she sat down in that ridged, sparkly lilac, solar system ensemble and not take someone’s eye out with the headwear in her second outfit!

Gaga, aka Stefani Joanne Angelina , is truly a fashion phenomenon and never ceases to amaze us with her iconic pieces of fashion art.

We only wonder where she can go next from these outfits…

Singer Kelis is one of the first to step out in Alexander McQueen’s Spring Summer 2010 footwear creations

Now you may find it slightly ironic that these whacky shoes, that Kelis is propped up in, are actually from Alexander McQueen’s ‘ready-to-wear’ collection, really, ready to wear?

We did wonder who would be the first celeb to rock these indescribable shoes, we were thinking more along the lines of Victoria Beckham, a la those heelless Antonio Berardi boots!

However it seems the singer best known for ‘I Hate You So Much Right Now’ and ‘Milkshake’ was the first to teeter out in these incredibly impractical items of footwear.

These works of art would be better off as just that, works of art. Where do we draw the line with fashion and function, is this one step too far?

These shoes are not helped by the rest of Kelis’s bizarre Lycra suit, strange hair-do (similar to that seen on Alexander McQueen’s SS10 catwalk) and dinner jacket…

We think she may be trying to resemble the half man, half goat creature from The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe, what other explanation is there?

What’s this? Victoria Beckham in ballet pumps!!!

Trademark pout, check! Oversized shades check! Hermes Birkin, check!

From the head down you may think this is any ordinary picture of Victoria Beckham, but take a closer look at her footwear, ballet pumps!!

She once said of ballerina flats: ‘Unless they’re on a ballet dancer doing ballet, I just don’t get it.’
So what’s going on… has Posh finally given in to her bunions?

And it’s not just ballet flats she’s been spotted in lately, last week she was out and about wearing trainers!
Whether it be at the Funfair, Shopping Centre, airport or at one of her hubby’s games, she’s never been without her towering heels?

The style icon, known for her penchant for soaring Louboutins, famously insisted she didn’t own a pair of flat shoes, claiming they made her legs look like golf clubs and that her feet were “horrid”.

Here at Shudoo News we beg to differ, there’s nothing wrong with wearing a chic pair of pumps from time to time, it’s all about footwear to suit the occasion in our opinion.

But a friend said last night: “Victoria wants a more low-key style. She loves the Audrey Hepburn look. This is just another new look for her - she’s been laughing that it will send sales of ballet pumps through the roof.

Amanda Seyfried disappoints at the Golden Globes with un-manicured toe nails and beastly heels!

The Golden Globes were certainly a treat for any shoeaholic with a whole host of beauties being showcased on the red carpet, not to mention the cheeky after party!

Amanda Seyfried however seemed to go down the Narnia route, dressing like half women half goat with these garish feathery heels.

Amanda’s Valentino footwear ruined a positively chic dress for us, far to fussy for such a delicate frock, don’t you agree?

Valentino are usually right on the money when it comes to fabulous footwear, however they seem to have gone off track here, these Valentino heels would have worked better with a plainer outfit we think…

P.S We think Amanda could have done with a pedicure for the Golden Globes judging by the looks of her garstly toenails!

Kate Hudson has trouble walking down the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards…

The Golden Globes are always a feast for any fashionistas eyes, and being the shoe-lovers that we are, we couldn’t resist gawping at the tremendously impractical footwear on show…

We think the Award for ‘Most Impractical Footwear ‘goes to (drum roll please)… Kate Hudson with her towering Casadei 3504 triple platform pumps!

The poor love could hardly walk in her skin tight Marchesa strapless silk crepe gown as it was, without adding highly (no pun intended) unrealistic heels into the equation.

Miss Hudson had a hint of Geisha girl about her as attempted to teeter down the red carpet.

The blonde bombshell gave us a glimpse of her shoes more by necessity than showing them off to the cameras!

Casadei 3504 pumps are somewhat of a celeb staple for red carpet events, much like the more common Christian Louboutins or quilted Chanel clutch.

We’re not sure that we love them with this dress though, perhaps they’d work better a la Beyonce with spray on skinny jeans, what do you think?

P.S we think the expression on Miss Hudson’s face is more concentration than smoldering for the camera!
