Rihanna - From Louis Vuitton to an enviable Gucci handbag and cutting edge flip flop boots, whatever next?

posted November 13th 2008 at 12:50pm by Nikki Beukes

Well we’ve heard of shoe-boots, otherwise known as ‘shoots,’ but now the latest thing seems to be flip flop boots, perhaps ‘flipfloots,’ you never know, it may catch on?

Singing sensation Rihanna was seen sporting this new trend as she was leaving Perth International Airport escorted by Airport Security and Police yesterday.

She was seen dripping head to toe in designer labels, from her Louis Vuitton silk scarf and Diesel jeans to her envious Gucci ‘babouska’ leather handbag retailing at a mere £1440!

Being the solo artist with most number ones this decade, she clearly isn’t short of a bob or two! And I guess being in Gucci adverts comes with its perks, aka gorgeous babouska totes..we’re not jealous at all!

However, it was certainly Rihanna’s flip flop boots that attracted the most attention. These fab creations looked great, providing all the freedom of a flip-flop with the look of an ankle boot, allowing you to casually tuck your jeans in…what a fab idea!

The gold slouched leather adds to their unique look, they are certainly nothing like I have ever come across before! Why do celebs always find the best footwear?

So, yay or nay to Rihanna’s shoes? contribute your opinions below…
