So Diana Vickers is back! We were all holding our breath for Saturday nights X Factor, would she…wouldn’t she? And she did!

Miss Vickers fought back and sang for her survival, performing ‘Yellow’ by Coldplay. The Lancashire singing sensation over came her throat infection and won her place in the next live show.  Despite still not being on top form and giving a below par performance, the 17-year-old was told by Louis Walsh that she deserved a place in the finals!

Diana looked less than pleased as she stepped down from the podium, in rather impressive heels, and put her head in her hands. Simon Cowell confirmed that she was still not well enough to sing and that she was off in parts. But Cowell went on to say how missed she was last week and that she was the most relevant artist in the competition.

It was rather surprising to see Diana in such high heels on Saturday night, as she usually favours the barefooted approach. Not only was she wearing soaring heels, but she had a descent from the podium to tackle. We thought this was the reason she didn’t wear heels whilst performing? Surely it would have been better to wear them on a week when she was on level flooring!

Sadly Saturday night said goodbye to a much loved contestant Daniel Evans. Though unfortunately this was inevitable as no one, not even Daniel, thought he could win the competition.  How can you compete with voices like Alexandra and Diana, the poor man never stood a chance!

If there weren’t enough conspiracy theories flying around Miss Vickers, it is now rumoured that fellow X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg and herself have been spotted flirting and holding hands, considering she is already in a relationship with her Blackburn bloke Chris Jones, this isn’t gossip that Diana wants at this fragile stage in the competition.

Eoghan has hit back saying they are just friends but out of all the girls in the house he is most attracted to Diana…
