Mischa Barton loves Louis Vuitton and posing nude for Cosmopolitan magazine

When we spotted Victoria Beckham wearing this season’s hottest heels, the Louis Vuitton tribal sandals, we thought she was rather behind times as numerous celebs had already been strutting their stuff in them long before Posh teetered out with them on.

However, the latest star to rock this trend, albeit rather late, is former O.C star Mischa Barton. Miss Barton was spotted shopping in Milan wearing a vintage blue and red checkered shirt and Harem-style dungarees (worn stylishly un-done, naturally).

She seemed to be going for a Louis Vuitton inspired outfit with a chic ‘LV’ belt and iconic Louis Vuitton Spicy Sandals in red python leather. She didn’t stop the theme there either, by finishing the look with a matching tribal Louis Vuitton over-sized clutch.

The Louis Vuitton’s ‘Spicy’ sandals have been hugely hyped in the media of late, with a whole host of celebs, including Heidi Klum and Kanye West’s girlfriend Amber Rose adding to the shoes popularity.

These towering heels are made from luxurious python leather featuring an ethnic-inspired tribal mask formed from beads, sequins, fringing and gold-finish accessories. All the gorgeous embellishment comes at a price however and will set you back an estimated £1,500.

If you can’t afford to skip your rent payment this month to grab yourself a pair, then never fear, as High Street stores everywhere are starting to bring out their own interpretations of this much-envied shoe, so you won’t need a movie stars salary to get this latest trend, phew!

With such an inspired sense of fashion it was no surprise that Mischa launched her own range of handbags. The English-born actress loves being involved in every aspect of producing her self-titled line and is always ready for inspiration to strike.

She has commented that: “I come up with my inspirations and ideas for fabrics and styles and then a team will present me with the drawings. From there we tweak and rejig. It’s a fascinating process that I am very hands-on with.”

It’s easy to see that Miss Barton is confident with her style and body image, so much so that she recently posed nude for the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine despite recent criticism about her fluctuating weight.

“Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite?” she told Cosmopolitan magazine… And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know its human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”

You go girl, we totally agree. We’d much-rather gossip about people’s shoes than their cellulite!
