Jodie Kidd reveals she has more shoes than clothes in her wardrobe

Former fashion model Jodie Kidd has revealed that she has more shoes than clothes…

The 30-year-old now TV personality has claimed she has a wardrobe bulging with designer outfits, alright Jodie, rub it in!

However footwear is her first love, she explains: “Shoes were the one thing I could take from the catwalk shows. I have an amazing collection, but they’ve all got five or six inch heels so I rarely wear them. For everyday wear I love my Lanvin flats and Uggs.”

Now that’s a lady we admire, someone who knows how to mix it up between designer heels and comfy Uggs, plus we’ve slightly green with envy from all the shoes she got to nab from her catwalks, oh to be a model!

Jodie’s personal style is dependent on location, if she’s at her country retreat in Sussex then its relaxed jeans, cashmere jumpers and a trusty pair of Uggs. But if she’s staying at her home in London then its tailored chic all the way.

Even Miss Kidd admits to having ‘fat days’ and there’s even an outfit for this…baggy hoodies or a man-size jumper with leggings or tight jeans.

We can’t help but think, surely she should realise she can’t be that fat if she can still fit into her skinny jeans?

Katie Price - Doing what it says on the t-shirt?

In a return to ‘normal life’, Katie Price steps out to her local Sainsbury’s for a spot of shopping with her son Junior.

Her casual ‘D&G beachwear’ flip flops, with cute cherry design soles and T-shirt are a far cry from the skimpy clubbing gear she’s favoured recently.

The former glamour model recently shocked fans, and her ex-husband, with her outrageous behaviour on Ibiza earlier this month.

Alarmingly Jordan had allegedly threatened to stab another female reveller at the Eden nightclub. Clearly things were spiralling out of control.

Perhaps with all the wild nights, and her nosedive in popularity, she’s decided to tone it down – and by her choice of T-shirt, it looks as though she needs it spelling out! “Keep calm and carry on”

Abigail Clancy tries to match boyfriend Peter Crouch’s soaring height in towering platforms

Lingerie and catwalk model Abigail Clancy was soaring at dizzy heights whilst on holiday with footballer boyfriend Peter Crouch.

The couple have been enjoying the sun in Italy relaxing on the beach, but no WAG in her right mind would be able to resist shopping for too long…

It seems Abbey once again drags a reluctant Peter around the Italian boutiques, this time trying to compete with her boyfriend’s enormous 6ft 7in height by wearing towering wooden platforms.

Not the most practical footwear for an afternoon of hard-core WAG shopping!

Despite her added height, the 23-year-old still couldn’t come near to her lofty boyfriend; we think someone may be in need of a yellow pages!

Abbey looked ready to hit the clubs in her backless black vest top, tiny shorts and soaring platforms, whereas Peter seemed to have holiday chic down, in a nautical shirt, white shorts and canvas plimsolles.

Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett - Style, music and television icons RIP

It’s not often that the world is left aghast at the news of a true icon’s death but this Thursday, June 25, we were rocked by the news that TWO of our most worshipped celebs had died.

First news broke that Charlie’s Angel Farrah Fawcett, she of 70s sex appeal and we-want-it hair, had succumbed to her battle with cancer.

Just hours later disbelief and shock spread across the globe as it was announced that king of pop Michael Jackson had died of a heart attack.

Few people have influenced lives and indeed wardrobes like Farrah and Jacko – through the 70s no woman could live without the fresh faced Angel look while in the 80s Jackson led the pack in true style with some of the most well remembered stage and video costumes in pop history.

Both were from an era when it took more than a pretty face or a liaison with a footballer to be a celebrity, both were true stars and will forever be remembered for bringing entertainment and style to our lives.

In tribute we’re wearing Pepe’s denim Katia heels – totally Jill Munroe style – and United Nude’s futuristic Stealth Peep Toe, straight out of a late 80s Jacko vid!

BBC presenter Kate Silverton puts her foot in it live on air with the Nolan sisters

Kate Silverton, BBC Breakfast host, let slip live on air that she had size 9 feet!

The BBC presenter was chatting with the Nolan sister’s on the show, when conversation turned to shoes, naturally.

Bernie Nolan revealed she had tiny size 3 feet, and Loose Women Coleen claimed hers where the national average, size 6.

Miss Silverton then interjected that hers were a staggering size 9, the Nolan sister’s were clearly astonished and silence filled the BBC studio.

Breakfast co-host Bill Turnball did his best to try and save Kate from further embarrassment by commenting that it’s because she’s tall, at 5ft 10in you’d expect bigger than average feet surely?

The 38-year-old journalist and presenter is in good company however, as there is a whole gang of A-listers who have larger than average feet…

Kate Winslet, Paris Hilton and Nicole Kidman are also a size 9, with Soul singer Macy Gray having staggering size 10 feet!

We’re sure this bunch have bank balances to be able to afford custom made shoes for their large tootsies if they can’t squeeze into their Choos and Louboutins!

Liv Tyler shows us her caring side by supporting TOMS shoes

A calm and composed Liv Tyler recently lost her rag whilst out for a peaceful lunch at Italian eatery Ca’Brea, when she witnessed a women yelling at a crying baby in a pram.

The A-list mother couldn’t help but intervene as she stepped in closer to take a look at the distressed little girl whilst threatening to call the police.

Having said her peace, Liv spun around on her sandals (which were very on-trend black strappy gladiators by the way) and walked off in the opposite direction.

This didn’t come as a shock to us as we know kindhearted Liv has a passionate interest in child welfare and is an active supporter of the United Nations Children’s Fund.

However, we were pleased to find that the Lord of The Rings actress continues her love for child welfare into her choice of clothing, and better still, her footwear.

The 31-year-old was spotted on her way to the spa wearing a navy pair of TOM’s shoes. For every pair of TOMS shoes sold, a pair is given to a child in need, one for one!

Miss Tyler sets a caring example by using her A-list purchasing power for the greater good, if only all shoe shopping was this guilt-free!
