Erin O’Connor for Vogue.com - Erin’s one of my favourite style icons at the forefront of British fashion, she’s been there, done it and seems completely genuine - I like her witty and sincere blog posts.

Sequined goat sandals with functioning bulb heel. (Shudoo: The creator of these unique heels certainly had a lightbulb moment)

Madonna. (Shudoo: We are so envious of Madonna’s shoe collection too, especially now she’s the new face of Louis Vuitton, we bet the perks will be flying at her)

Christian Louboutin’s Rosazissimo feather shoes.

They’re full of drama, which is exactly the way a shoe should be!

Dita Von Teese. She has the best collection of almost EVERYTHING fashion related, and shares my love of Louboutin!

Who is your favourite UK fashion blogger of 2008 and why?
Tough call, but probably Queen Michelle at Kingdom of Style – she never fails to look fantastic in clothes I probably wouldn’t even think of putting together!

Brits now have a PopSugar destination to call their own and Laura Street has treated us to a flurry of gossip on what’s hot and what’s not in fashion.

What is your most memorable shoe of 2008?
The most memorable shoe for me has to be the YSL Tribute sandal.

It’s a gorgeous style that has been produced in many colours from classic black and brown to brighter shades like purple and turquoise.

It has also been worn by a whole host of celebrities from Lauren Conrad to Beth Ditto making countless red carpet appearances.

Which celeb has the best shoe collection and why?
It’s difficult for me to answer this as I am torn between two lovely ladies; Agyness Deyn and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Agyness remains true to her quirky English style wearing funky vintage designs like Vivienne Westwood’s pirate boots as well as uber high Louboutins.

Gwyneth, on the other hand, has revolutionised shoes this year putting sky high heels back on the fashion map.

She actually is credited with increasing shoe sales throughout the summer as she showed off her pins whilst promoting various movies. She was rarely seen without gladiators (heels or flats) which became the must-have style of the summer. I wouldn’t mind raiding either of the girl’s wardrobes!

Who is your favourite UK fashion blogger of 2008 and why?
I have really enjoyed MyFashionLife edited by Michele Obi.

She gets some really great interviews, for example she recently interviewed William Tempest and mixes fashion news with street style. I look forward to continue reading the site in 2009.

My Fashion Life features everything from new collections, store openings, fashion parties and interviews with top names in fashion from Louise Roe to William Tempest.

What is your most memorable shoe of 2008?
It would have to be Alberta Ferretti’s heel-less boots as worn by Victoria Beckham.

The whole concept is so fascinating to me. I already have a hard time balancing on heels so I don’t know how I would cope in these babies. But if Victoria Beckham can do it…so can I!

Apparently they’re actually quite comfortable.

Which celeb has the best shoe collection and why?
Gwyneth Paltrow displayed an impressive selection of shoes on the red carpet this year.

I’d fight my fears and ask Anna Wintour when she’s finally retiring to get my hands on her Louboutin stiletto’s, McQueen heels, Gladiator sandals and in particular her Fendi boots!

Who is your favourite UK fashion blogger of 2008 and why?
It’s got to be Susanna Lau at Stylebubble.

I love her writing style and the fact that she’s not afraid to be open. I do find myself checking in on Kingdom of Style quite often too.

After studying fashion journalism at the London College of Fashion Gemma started writing Catwalk Queen in her spare time – little did she know it would become one of the UK’s most successful fashion blogs.

It’s now part of Shiny Media which is also home to some of the Shudoo teams other favourite blogs including Shoewawa, The Bag Lady and Kiss and Makeup.

What is your most memorable shoe of 2008?
There were loads of amazing shoes in 2008, but for me it has to be the amazing Christian Louboutin for Rodarte heels covered in studs and rivets. Talk about killer heels!

Which celeb has the best shoe collection and why?
I’m sure everyone will say this, but this year it has to be Gwyneth Paltrow.

Her Iron Man press tour was a lesson in how to walk in high heels.

She was in a minimum of 5 inch heels for most of the time. I don’t know how she did it, but she looked amazing.

Who is your favourite UK fashion blogger of 2008 and why?
I have to send some love to Fashion Critic of www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com.

She works tirelessly to let the world know who wore what at just about every red carpet event, and her site is an absolute goldmine for celebrity fashion fans. I love niche sites like that.

It’s much better to do one thing really well than to try and do everything half-heartedly!
