Dogs, traffic wardens and sunshine - a day in the life of Shudoo on our London fashion shoot
Yesterday was a very exciting day for us here at Shudoo - it was our Jumbuck fashion shoot!
Shot on the streets of London Town we (being me, our amazing photographer Andrea, her very cute assistant Ed, Jamie our hair and makeup artist, Rebekah our stylist and our stunningly beautiful model Yana) found ourselves traipsing around the back streets of Sloan Square and the Kings road – not too shabby!
We had our Jeep with us (which luckily has blacked out windows) as many a change of clothes were required for Yana – how she managed to get those very long limbs into several pairs of tights in the back of the car I will never know!
I even managed to sweet talk a traffic warden into letting us park in a very cheeky spot – he let us stay for 10 mins! Thank you Mr Traffic warden, you have restored my faith!
Because everything went so well, I found myself in a very generous mood…Yana fell in love with our black military boot and Rebekah our stylist loved the Knitted pull-ups so, of course, I had to give them the boots! The girls were very happy; it was the least I could do after such a great shoot.
Andrea got some fabulous shots for us and the Jumbucks looked amazing – my personal favourite has to be the Cherokee studded fringe boot so on trend with all that studding and the chestnut sheepskin is so gorgeous, perfect for this wonderful autumn weather.
I’d like to give a special mention to the kind lady who let us borrow her dogs – the very well behaved Zip and Lucy – and personally I think they lapped up all that attention. Little super stars!
Thanks everyone for such a great day and thank you to the big man upstairs who made the sun shine for us all day!

Is the credit crunch affecting your monthly quota of new shoe purchases?
We hear that Estelle could be cashing in on the latest fad to hit the Hollywood A-listers…
Despite the current popularity among the young and hip for all things vintage, charity shops have found themselves unable to meet the demand for good quality items that people are willing to splash their cash on, even if the proceeds go to a good cause.

Just when you thought Facebook.com was simply for catching up with old friends or stalking you ex, think again…
When did shoes start getting so perilous? Only last week I bought a deliciously to-die-for pair of four-inch sling backs from the new Topshop Unique collection only to be issued with a disclaimer at the till stating that, should the heels break or dysfunction in any way, then I wouldn’t be allowed to return them.
